Frank is a stray cat that was spotted in Athens/Greece with a huge hole in his face, probably created by catfighting with other males. We received a call about his dramatic situation and as a welfare that is carrying and fostering for more than 70 cats and dogs, we couldn' t turn our back on him.

When our volunteer arrived at the spot, she noticed other than the infected wound in his face, a huge swollen belly.

Our fears came true when after several blood tests and ultrasound, he was confirmed with FIP and he had to start his cure immediately.

We luckily could borrow a vial from a volunteer friend but Frank must keep receiving his treatment.

After this, a graft must be tried on his face but this can wait after the GS treatment.
