Hello, I am coming here asking for help for my kitten with FIP. Two weeks ago we had to euthazine our other kitten due to FIP. We had never owned cats so we did not know the signs of FIP until he started having seizures. My children had never seen such a thing. It was the most traumatic thing they have ever had to see. A day later my dad died. A day after that, my other kitten Kitkat started showing symptoms of FIP. After countless trips to the vet and cost that we couldnt afford but did by using our savings we are here now in hopes of saving our only pet. My family fosters kittens and volunteers at our local SPCA. We give to animals in every way we can. We never imagaed that we would be in this situation. My children have seen too much death in the last year ( we lost my only sibling less then a year ago too). Three deaths in less then a year and we are praying night and day that we dont have a four death with our little kitkat. Thankfully Kitkat is still in the early stages of FIP. Getting her treatment as quickly as possible is going to be the key to hopefully save her life. After all our family has been through this last year, we are praying for nothing short of a miricale.
